[Trisquel-devel] Complete Trisquel web browser add-on repository upgrade

Can someone please merge back this repository to the Trisquel web 
browser repository?


I made most job on 
https://directory.fsf.org/wiki/Collection:IceCat_extension_working_lists. See 
attached file (particular row S and T) to customize and import these 
add-ons into the Trisquel web browser repository database.

Currently about 300 add-ons are listed.

*Disclaimer:* GNU IceCat currently using the Trisquel web browser 
<https://trisquel.info/en/browser> add-ons repository. However, this 
repository has superseeded that repository:

  * It has been merged from the Trisquel web browser repository since
    2015-03-18
  * Many add-ons have been added that is not found in the Trisquel
    repository.
  * Its more updated. The merge from Trisquel has been maintained which
    has cause many add-ons to bee either updated, removed, replaced for
    following reasons: incompatibility with IceCat 31.5.0 (based on
    Firefox ESR 31.5.0), buggy, superseeded, bad rating, not significant
    popular, Service as a Software Substitute (SaaSS), and known mass
    surveillance services (commercial cloud/social media).

The reason why you don't find these add-ons on the IceCat 
<https://directory.fsf.org/wiki/IceCat> page is because most of them 
have not been approved by the FSF. This list should be merged back to 
the Trisquel web browser repository meanwhile to do any good.
