Hi Pablo,

Regarding that issue that you mention:

I have been dual-booting Windows and GNU/Linux for several years and I
have always had that same problem, that it is not possible to mount an
ntfs Windows system partition r/w, even if Windows was fully shut down
(not hibernated).

However, I had that problem back when I used Ubuntu, before I switched
to Trisquel. So, I am fairly sure it is an issue between Windows and
GNU/Linux in general, and not an issue just for Trisquel.

You should be able to mount the partition for read-only though.
