sudo apt-get install build-essential
git clone git://github.com/ioerror/tlsdate.git
./autogen.sh
./configure
make
sudo make install
tlsdate -V -n -H encrypted.google.com

Success on updated Trisquel 6.0! Say hi on my behalf to J.
