The main features for this edition are:
- LXDE based -and Lubuntu inspired-.
- < 400MB Live CD image, suitable for 512MB USB drives with persistence.
- Just 128MB RAM required, might be usable in 64MB with minor changes.
- Includes Epiphany, Sylpheed, Abiword, Gnumeric, Pidgin, Totem,
Exaile, XFBurn, MTpaint, Xchat, Transmission and many more.

Note that the Live CD and its installer need at least 384MB of RAM to
work, so if you need to install Trisquel mini on an old computer you
should use the netinst image instead, which allows the installation
to be done with just 32MB of RAM.

Also note that the current contents of this beta are not strictly
following this: http://trisquel.info/en/wiki/suggestions-trisquel-mini

The reason is the way translations are packaged in Ubuntu, which makes
this edition simpler by avoiding packages included in the Ubuntu
desktop system, and more exactly the GNOME packages. Due to this, some
translations are missing -Totem, Pidgin and Network Manager applet
being the most notable ones-, but they are downloaded during the
installation process anyway.

Also, basing the release on Trisquel 4.0 LTS allowed the usage of LXDM
instead of GDM. We can still decide what to do with Wicd vs
Network-manager. The current default is the latter.
