- Ubuntu 12.10
- Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

specially crafted file.
Software Description:
- gimp: The GNU Image Manipulation Program
Details:
It was discovered that GIMP incorrectly handled malformed XWD files. If a
user were tricked into opening a specially crafted XWD file, an attacker
could cause GIMP to crash, or possibly execute arbitrary code with the
user's privileges.
Update instructions:

package versions:
Ubuntu 12.10:
gimp 2.8.2-1ubuntu1.1
Ubuntu 12.04 LTS:
gimp 2.6.12-1ubuntu1.2
Ubuntu 11.10:
gimp 2.6.11-2ubuntu4.2
Ubuntu 10.04 LTS:
gimp 2.6.8-2ubuntu1.6
