As the title reads, it's useful when using the default LVM setup (with 
or without encryption).

I'm not aware of a wiki designed for regular partitions, but it might be 
using the same procedure, resizing via a LiveISO setup.

I'll revisit the topic when I have more time available, but I would 
invite you to ask on the forums or check the documentation on the 
website, as there is more info/participation on those channels.
