I tried Pidgin for IRC (mainly because, as a tester, I like to stay with
the defaults as much as possible) last night and was quite satisfied.

I was very well satisfied with XChat in the past, so I am just
wondering: if you think XChat is a mediocre IRC client, what is a good
or great one?
