Hello,
I recently started using Trisquel and I am trying to let more people know about it and use it. I am also contributing to the LibreOffice project (http://libreoffice.org) which I am seing mentioned in this list for future inclusion in Trisquel.
I joined the marketing and documentation teams there, mostly focusing on French users (as I live in Montreal Canada) and Spanish users (as I am from Colombia). I am a long time Ubuntu user so I still use that too.
The LibreOffice project is looking for active contributors to help in development, documentation, testing (QA) and translation, among other things. I think it's important users from other GNU/Linux distributions than Ubuntu get involved early so we get support for them and future users feel welcome too. If this sounds like something you or someone close to you would like to help with, see the "Get Involved" and "Developers" links at the top of http://www.libreoffice.org/.
I also recently launched a Questions and Answers site at Shapado for all LibreOffice users and developers
http://libreoffice.shapado.com/
If you get involved in LibreOffice and use Trisquel *please* join the growing list of Shapado helpers there. I will be inviting Trisquel users in their respective mailing lists to ask and answer questions there, hoping to get a central place where anyone can ask questions **in any language**. Shapado is free, open source software so the server could eventually be moved to The Document Foundations servers, as I know depending on Software-As-Service to store such data is not ideal. For now, though, it shares resources (and authentication) with other similar Q&A sites on Shapado. Shapado devs are also very responsive and often available on Freenode on the #shapado channel.
I recently tried a similar experience with Ubuntu, this eventually got enough exposure for Shapado that the Debian project adopted it:
http://ask.debian.net/
I welcome any comments and suggestions, although I will remove myself from this list in the near future you can always reach me personally or on the LibreOffice teams where I participate (listed below).
Cheers,
