The only problem i found on the upgrade installation was that VLC had a
problem of
dependencies, i had to uninstall it in order to complete the upgrade.

Some things that caught my attention,

On the LiveCD lirc and tvtime worked just fine with the Encore
ENLTV-FM[0], but my upgraded system has bad issues with the remote
control.

An upgrade from Taranis using OSS4[1] instead of ALSA, fails to detect the
sound card[2], FWIW LiveCD does correctly.

Aside that everything seems to be fine on Slaine
