i dont believe debian hosts any software systems that are free by fsf
standards. i know of the libreplanet incoming distros list, a bit like free
distro purgatory (but then fsf standards are extremely high) though i think
if any of debians offerings qualified, we would hear about it.

debian used to put "gnu/linux" on their front page, and then they changed
that allegedly due to exceptions like kfreebsd, which ironically (or
appropriately) isnt even supported now. now gnu/linux is all theyve got, and
they changed the page around the middle of 2012.

so many ties to the name debian probably disqualify freedombox. their kernel
(with no non-free software, but not quite up to linux-libre standards in
other regards. i prefer the debian kernel, but its a fact that the fsf wont
list a distro that includes it because it doesnt follow their requirements)
would be an issue but if freedombox switched to linux-libre (before or in the
future) that would bring it a lot closer.
