Hugely important, I'd say ridiculously ignored by the FSF. EC and the other  
proprietary firmware that makes your hard drive work (so it is 2 proprietary  
potentially absolutely dangerous pieces of firmware) are present in all RYF  
laptops. Until those laptops ship any of the two their claim about it being  
freedom respecting is just ridiculous. They do not respect your freedom and  
no one can give you such certification. The only certification the FSF should  
give is the RYFM, that is 'respects your freedom MAYBE'.
